Perfectly Matched Touch Up Paint!

How To Use Your Kitchen Touch Up Pen

Our Touch Up Repair Pen is ideal for addressing minor scratches and small chips.

1. Prepare the Surface

Clean the damaged area thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease or loose debris. Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying the paint.

2. Shake Well

Shake the touch-up pen vigorously for at least 60 seconds to ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed and the colour is consistent.

3. Choose Your Applicator

Your touch-up pen includes three application options:

  • Precision needle tip – Ideal for fine scratches and small chips. To access the needle tip, firmly pull off the clear cap.
  • Built-in brush – Perfect for slightly larger damaged areas. Unscrew the white collar to reveal the brush.
  • Micro-brushes – Ideal for controlled application on wider scratches and detailed repairs.

4. Test the Colour

Always test the paint on an inconspicuous area first. Allow approximately 15 minutes for the paint to dry before assessing the colour, as wet paint can appear different from the final dried finish.

5. Apply the Paint

Apply thin, even coats, keeping the paint within the damaged area wherever possible.

  • For the needle tip, place the nib into the scratch or chip and gently squeeze the pen.
  • For larger repairs, use the built-in brush or a micro-brush.

Allow each coat to dry for approximately 15 minutes before applying additional coats if required.

6. Allow to Cure

The repair will continue to harden as it cures. Avoid heavy cleaning or abrasion for at least 24 hours after the final coat.

Helpful Tips

  • Less is more—several thin coats produce a better finish than one thick coat.
  • Work in a dry, well-ventilated area between 5°C and 35°C.
  • Cold or damp conditions may increase drying times and affect the final finish.
  • Replace the caps securely after use to prevent the paint from drying out.
